Cardia – Sweet Return
12th June, 2007 by Chewbacca
Cardia is the anatomical term for the junction orifice of the stomach…. oh sorry! Too much information. Okay, back on track: Cardia was formed after Ian Love left the band Rival Schools (so named for the series of fighting games you may have played) and unfortunately his departure from the band put a halt on any further material from them (don’t worry, they’ll get a mention one day too). He was joined by Andy Action of 2 Skinnee J’s, St. John Scott IV from Shudder to Think, and Brad VanderArk formerly of Verve Pipe. They put out their only album, self-titled, in 2003, where “Sweet Return” originates.
