Lovedrug - Blackout

Lovedrug, an indie rock band from Ohio, appeared in my music library from out of nowhere - I can’t remember ever being recommended it, and spontaneously just went and got it. It turned out to be a good investment for the impulse buy: although at first they appear a very typical “me too” indie band, you’ll soon see there’s more under the cover than first appearances. I particularly like the last two minutes of today’s track “Blackout” which comes from their first full-length album, “Pretend You’re Alive”. They have since released a second album, earlier this year, which you can also buy, “Everything Starts Where It Ends”.
