Noel Gallagher – Teotihuacan
27th August, 2007 by Chewbacca
And we’re back! Noel Gallagher, who I’m sure you’ll know as one fifth of the band Oasis, contributed to the album for the X-Files movie and the song as the credits began to play. I’d hope you’ll notice a distinct change in the music – an instrumental, electronic, new-age piece that is always good listening for me for a chillout track. As for the name, we can only presume he refers to the Teotihuacán. It’s a long track at over seven minutes long, perhaps it’ll help you take solace in the fact I’ve been missing for over a week! Enjoy Noel Gallagher’s “Teotihuacan”:

it’s a great song!
i’m listening to it right now and i think noel did a great job
I have actually been looking for this song for years! thanks for posting!
OK, so now is it just me or is this actually an extended version of the background music for Ian Browns’ “Keep What You Got” which also features Mr. Gallagher on it? (yes I realise this was out first so Ian Brown could have used it as the basis of a song after he heard it….???) Excellent song though with a rather surprising change from a member of Oasis
Wow, you’re right, that is uncannily similar. I imagine it must have been “inspired” by this song!
Thanks for posting this. I was rewatching FtF last night, and came to the realization that this wasn’t on the Score Soundtrack. (Duh!) I immediately ordered a copy, but I’m thrilled beyond measure to get to hear this one now.
I’m also glad to have stumbled across this site. I’ve now bookmarked it, as I don’t have the time to go through the archives at the moment. I’m hoping to see you come back, as I’ve got an eclectic taste in music, and I’m always on the prowl for something new.
Gracias…. from Mexico.. a great song!!
